This week I had the privilege of visiting my old stomping grounds of Edision High School!

The man who made this possible yesterday is Joe Jeffries, Senior Army Instructor for the Thomas A. Edison Army JROTC. When we celebrated the Bear’s 50th Birthday and our Class’s 50th anniversary he and the JROTC got very involved. There is a time capsule we put under the Bear that they made into an honorable ceremony. I will talk about that in my new book, but I would love to give him credit for staying in touch and honoring the Bear. He has one more year before he retires and I want to give him as much credit as possible.
